Transformer

Transformer_shirt

I am already pumped about the movie and this shirt … should I wear it while going to see it… GEEKY!

As you probably already know the Transformers are coming to wage war across our puny planet. We recommend you choose your alliances now and make sure to hide those extra stashes of energon. And hey it couldn’t hurt to demonstrate your good faith by picking up some Transformers related apparel like these cool animated glowing T-Shirts. Each features the Autobot or Decepticon logo, lights up and animates. We suggest you purchase one of each just in case… you don’t want to be on the wrong side when transforming robots from Cybertron battle.

Some Excellent Halo T-Shirts

Spartan Bootcamp

If you or someone you love is into Halo then here are three t-shirts that you have to check out. First off, “I survived sparten bootcamp” will only be recognized by other Halo aware players, it’s a kind of secret wink t-shirt that will assure you will be able to connect with other nerds. The “stuck” t-shirt is a similar secret wink t-shirt, and chronicles the hysterical moment when someone gets a plasma grenade stuck to the back of their head, and all their buddys can do is look on and wait for the unaware player to blow up :-)

Stuck

The Dangerous in First Person t-shirt is potentially a little broader in it’s appeal. A lovely play on words, reminisant of such warnings as “objects in mirror are close than they appear” or “does not play well with others”.

Pulp Addiction T-Shirt from Camiseteria (the brazilian threadless)

Pulp Addiction

I’ve heard recently some complaints that Threadless is getting “cute animal overload” and is starting to churn out some predictable designs, probably fair comment. I think it’s a challenge Threadless is going to increasingly face as the people participating, designing and voting are more and more mainstream and mass market. Don’t get me wrong, I looooove threadless, but I worry that the more popular they get the more the designs are going to get watered down, and anyone that reads this blog with any regularity know’s i’m not a big fan of the taste of the mass market.

Anyway, there is no shortage of cool new stuff out there, and I love this T-shirt called Pulp Addiction from Camiseteria, which is essentially the Brazilian version of threadless.

Worst Keynote Ever - mac merch

Worst Keynote Ever

A wonderful t-shirt for all the Mac faithful out there, this is of course referring to Steve Jobs keynote at the latest WWDC (world wide developer conference). You just have to imagine the phrase in comic book guys voice and it works perfectly :-)

Giant Fucking Robots Are Coming - Transformers T-Shirt From Michael Bay

giant fucking robots front

The Giant Fucking Robots Are Coming t-shirt is based on the t-shirt that Michael Bay wore during the shooting of the upcoming Transformers movie. Personally I think that phrase bodes very well for the movie, sounds like Michael Bay has a very clear vision of what this movie is about… GIANT FUCKING ROBOTS :-) Yeah Boy, how’s that for a slice of fried gold!

It’s worth noting that the proceeds from these t-shirt sales will be going to a yet to be named charity, so go ahead, it’s for a good cause.

Alex from firstshowing.net sent me this tip, and let me just say Alex, you Rawk!

Study, Buddy.

study budy

Oh man. Lime green AND a cheesy tagline.

Much like the probable demographic dawn-er of this tee, there is potential in this neon, neo-UO, pedestrian chest sign.

Harsh, true.

When I look at that shirt and then I look at my irl buddy; Lennon of San Francisco’s Paranoids, in this impeccably designed and printed tee by Josh Podoll, I just can’t help but see the importance of the choice you make each morning you dawn a new Marque.

abstraction at its finest

I mean you can walk down the street advertising yourself as a possibly attractive, if not, then at least confident (enough to wear neon green and call yourself a stud), literally mindless consumer.

OR

Your daily billboard can display a piece of hand drawn art with an exquisite, true insight and inspiration for thought.

Check out this unique tee along with righteous salvage denim at Self Edge right here in San Francisco.

Reactee - Your T-Shirt Message + Text Message

Reactee is a company that enables you to create your own t-shirts with your own custom message on them, big deal, right? Except Reactee T-shirts also have a text message code on the shirt that people can text, and then get another message from you.

Obama 01

This is a great idea and there are lots of obvious ways that companies, bands, groups, politicians etc. can use this. I think there are probably a huge amount of interesting ways that people could use this for fun as well.

Like my Band

I actually think this is a feature that should be built into all good t-shirts, maybe a little less prominently. I’ve had loads of times people comment on my shirt and I’d love to say, well text this number on the label and the company will send you a discount code, how cool would that be.

Anyway, if you want updates from tcritic just follow the instructions on this t-shirt:

Thanks for the Tip from goldengod.net (a photographer) and hat tip to Joshspear.com as well.

everything will be okay

EVERYTHING WILL BE OKAY

Everything will be Okay from No Star gives me the warm mushy, “everybody hurts” kind of feeling leaving me with the urge to hug strangers and thank bus drivers for a job well done. It sets me on the verge of getting out of my car, climbing on top of it and dancing or looking around with a faint dying hope in my eye. But I don’t have a car, so I’ll have to take a cab or commandeer a stranger’s vehicle for climbing.

In the interest of my currently clean criminal record, I will stick to thanking bus drivers and No Star.

okay now that this boy is here
